Vichy NutriExtra Extraordinary Oil / Product Review

Summer is officially here, but the hot, dry, and sunny weather comes with the unfortunate risks for our skin. Sure, many would say the sun and tanning is fun and all, even when it often comes at high cost for our skin (and hair too!) - that discomforting dryness and aging skin. Was it worth it?

During the last few weeks, I've began religiously using the Vichy NutriExtra Extraordinary Oil, my new go-to nourishing facial and body oil, a definite saviour of dry, dull skin. It works surprisingly well!

What does it do?

  • The oil is dry to the touch and deeply nourishing
  • It contains 9 precious plant oils for 24 hour nourishment
  • It gives that glowing, non greasy, satiny, luminous finish
  • Great for face, body, hair, and nails too!

Vichy NutriExtra Extraordinary Oil is formulated from 9 precious plant oils with perfect affinity for skin of the face, the body, and even the hair:

  1. Highly nourishing and emollient Passion Fruit Kernel Oil
  2. Coriander Oil to facilitate application
  3. Nourishing and anti free radical Black Currant Seed Oil
  4. Moisturizing, emollient and revitalizing Apricot Kernel Oil
  5. Extremely emollient and perfectly absorbed Macadamia Oil
  6. Dog Rose Oil which contributes to skin suppleness
  7. Extremely Moisturizing Jojoba Oil
  8. Softening, nourishing and anti oxidant Sunflower Oil
  9. Highly anti oxidant and softening Rice Bran Oil

I've immediately felt that my skin has become softer, silkier, more radiant. Overall, Vichy NutriExtra Extraordinary Oil is very effective. The product is also easy to use. I have sprayed a small amount into the palm of my hands and applied throughout the face and the body. For the body, it is best to apply to warm, still somewhat damp skin straight after the shower.

PROS:
-Hypoallergenic formula
-Colorant free, silicone free, paraben free
-Effective combination of plant oils provides the skin with essential fatty acids

CONS:
-A little bit pricy, but lasts awhile

Retail price: $29.50 (125ml spray)

Massive Collective Makeup Haul Part 1 / Pics Heavy!

OK, I've been at it again for the last few months. It's been a while since I've shared my haul with you - sorry for the delay! I've been rather lazy. Of course I've gotten more 'stuff', not that I ever need more stuff, but there's always something new out there that I want to try, don't we all? So, what did I get? A lot of it wasn't much of an impulse buy, but planned for months if not years. Is it something I really wanted? YES, yes, and yes! For instance, CK Beauty was something I've always wanted to add to my repertoire. To be honest, most of these purchases were carefully planned - I went through the aisles numerous times, in fact, taken hours and days to decide... And when the price looks good, how would you say no to yourself?

Glymm Update: Free ANTI-Glymm box from Nail Polish Canada

I’ve been a long-time Glymm Beauty Box customer before finally pulling the plug and cancelling my account, but many others have patiently waited and waited for the service to improve. Unfortunately, the company ceased operations and disappeared: “The lucrative business of beauty boxes appears to have hit an ugly bump as Montreal-based Glymm abruptly closed its virtual shop last Friday, leaving members wondering what happened to their money.” (View Source)

Glymm stopped shipping boxes and continued charging customers’ credit cards without notice. Luckily, Nail Polish Canada would like to give back to the beauty community and have put together a FREE $25 value box for those who had a subscription.

This awesome Anti-Glymm Box includes
  • 1 x Choice of: China Glaze Shocking Pink, Nova (silver glitter), or Towel Boy Toy (blue)
  • 1 x China Glaze For Audrey (best selling China Glaze ever!)
  • 1 x Color Club In Theory
  • 1 x White Nail File
  • 1 x mini Seche Vite Top Coat
  • 1 x mini Tend Skin
Anybody who was a Glymm box member at any point during the last 4 months qualifies.
  1. Email with proof of membership (receipt, confirmation email, credit card statement etc.) to boxmeup@nailpolishcanada.com
  2. Within 24 hours Nail Polish Canada will email you a coupon code to get this $25 value box for free!

Take a look at some of the new additions to my collection. As most of you already know, I love cutsey, girly items.
